Come along to our various fundraising events. Not only is this a golden opportunity to meet up with old friends, it means you are supporting the OGA and the School.

Silver Road Club

The OGA operates on a very modest budget and handles its finances with great prudence. Treasurer Julie Goodyear does a fabulous job as it is not an easy task, especially at year end with new reporting requirements introduced. She is assisted by Kirsty Cooper and together they undertake all the necessary accounting work. We have a small group of Old Girls who are members of the Silver Road Club, otherwise we rely on the various fundraising activities and events we put on throughout the year. All donations are gratefully received.

We invite you to join the special group of Old Girls who are now “Silver Road Club Donors”, supporting us with a monthly automatic payment of $10 to help cover our costs and keep us afloat. This is less than the cost of a cup of coffee a week and an easy and valuable way you can support us if you are short on time or unable to help in practical ways.

Each “Silver Road Club Donor” receives a special badge. We are a registered charity and will send you a donation receipt at the end of the year. We would love your support! Please contact us for more information to become a member of the Silver Road Club.

Archives

The OGA, in association with the School, maintains extensive Archives. We have an Archive Room which houses all sorts of treasures: photos; uniform; badges; yearbooks; furniture; books; memorabilia; and many other interesting things. For many years Christine Black was Archivist; she retired in 2018 and we are reviewing next steps so that we are sure to maintain our precious Archives in the best possible way. Christine is compiling a history of the OGA for the Centenary in 2021.

If you would like to take a look at our Archives collection, please contact us and we can arrange this. If you have something you would like to donate, let us know and we will arrange to gratefully receive any special items.

Bequeathing a Legacy

Should you wish to provide philanthropic support without affecting your lifestyle, including Epsom Girls Grammar School in your Will is an option for your consideration. A gift to Epsom Girls Grammar School can be for any amount you choose, small or large. All gifts make a wonderful difference to the School and will be recognised.
