Raye Freedman Arts Centre
This magnificent facility is home to the Music and Drama departments of Epsom Girls Grammar School. It is also available for hire to professional, community and corporate clients.
The Raye Freedman Arts Centre (RFAC) is named after our generous benefactor, Raye Freedman. She and the Auckland Council donated significantly towards the venue's construction before it opened its doors in 2005.
The RFAC facilities include:
- Lady Fisher Auditorium, which seats 258
- Proscenium configuration stage with extension or orchestra pit
- Spacious modern foyer for functions, exhibitions and product launches
- Ten practice rooms and two large music rooms
- Two 11 x 13 metre rehearsal studios with sprung floors, lighting grids, sound and audio-visual equipment
- A comfortable, private green room
- A well-equipped kitchen and servery
