Epsom Girls Grammar School students have once again achieved outstanding results at this year's Science and Technology Fair, with nine of our 12 projects receiving category awards, special prizes, or both.
In Year 11 Science, Nitya Jaiswal and Kavya Sri Boddapati placed first and received a special prize, while Kaelyn McLean placed second and Mayoori Krishna placed third, with both also receiving special prizes.
Our Mana Ora Youth Resilience Group won first place in the Year 13 Group Project category. Congratulations to Ameena Jada, Anita Zhou, Cici Zhao, Elaine Dai, Georgina Johnston, Hamama Rifhan, Oshara Edirisinghage, Sukhlyn Kaur, Tehreem Fatima, Tenka Fujino, Yvette Qin, and Zarita Kwong on this achievement.
In Technology, Sierra Sharma won first place in Senior Technology and received a special prize, while Inaaya Arslan won first place in Junior Technology and also received a special prize. Emily Xie won first place and a special prize in Year 10 Material World, with Wendy Wang receiving a Highly Commended award.
Our Senior Science students were also recognised, with Tanusri Boddapati and Hiruki Heenkenda, and Shaivi Kullkani and Ananya Rai, each receiving Highly Commended awards and special prizes.
Congratulations to all our students who presented projects at the Fair. We are incredibly proud of the curiosity, creativity, hard work, and commitment they brought to their projects and of the outstanding results they achieved.
