Kia ora EGGS whānau,

School spirit was on full display at this year’s Athletics Day, with over 800 students hitting the track and field for an action-packed two days of competition, colour, and camaraderie.

A standout moment came from Gemma Kivell, who blazed her way into the record books by setting a new school record in the Intermediate 100m.

Beyond the track, there was no shortage of fun. The infamous Tug of War drew fierce rivalry, and the always-entertaining Gumboot Throw proved once again to be a crowd favourite. The prefects lit up the field with their much-anticipated dance, and the annual parade showcased creativity, pride, and plenty of personality.

It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved and showcasing that sense of community that makes our School so special.
