Music:
On Tuesday 20th May at 6:30pm, our rock bands and chamber music groups will come together to present Strings and Amplifiers. This concert at the Raye Freedman Arts Centre represents a mid-point between the successes of our pop music students at the Smokefree Rockquest, and the excitement of our chamber musicians preparing for the NZCT Chamber Music Contest.
On Wednesday 28th May at 6:30pm, we will be hosting our annual Choral Showcase - a culmination of many weeks of rehearsals from our choirs in preparation for the NZCF Big Sing Regional Festival. Our four choirs will be joined by two guest choirs from Auckland Grammar School in what will be a special night of singing.
Drama:
Next week on Wednesday and Thursday, the 21st and 22nd of May, the Year 13 drama cohort will be putting on a production of Chaos by Laura Lomas in the Raye Freedman Arts Center. This play explores the butterfly effect, and the consequences of even the smallest of actions. Tickets are available to purchase on iTICKET.
