Dear parents, caregivers and students

Last Friday at Pre-Enrolment Day we welcomed students and families who will be joining
EGGS in 2017. It is always a busy day and a wonderful opportunity to get to know new
members of our community. The PTA do a wonderful job providing refreshments
throughout the day and making those initial contacts. Please remember that if you are
interested in joining the PTA committee or being involved in their activities, simply get in
touch pta@eggs.schoool.nz

Many of the incoming Year 9 students bought centenary t-shirts last Friday. There are two
styles (see page 3) - current students can order these by collecting a form from Student
Administration. Order forms need to be received by Friday 9 December and the t-shirts will
be distributed during tutor time on the frst day back in 2017.

We are still seeking sponsors for the centenary
so if you have a business that you think could
provide a sponsorship opportunity please
contact eggs100@eggs.school.nz

This Friday is a Mufti Day for Year 9 and 10
students. It is in support of Red Nose Day run
by Cure Kids. We have supported Cure Kids
over a number of years and I am really pleased
that we are doing so again this year. The
junior school may be able to break the record
for numbers in mufti and the donation total.

From the beginning of Week 7 and into Week
8 there will be a number of sports teams
going to tournaments good luck to all
students involved.
