The Art of Noticing

Epsom teachers and students are learning Mindfulness techniques within the Auckland Central Community of Schools (ACCoS) initiative.
Mindfulness is an approach to self-management and stress reduction developed by psychologists such as Jon Kabat-Zin and has been
successfully tested in a number of clinical, scientifc and school settings.

Teachers and students are learning methods of training attention. We also wish to investigate ways to counter stress, develop resilience and
enhance relationships.
