From the Community EGG

Community Week 20 24 June
Student community leaders met in darkness to decorate the main entrance to
EGGS with blue and gold balloons, fowers and lanterns. Welcome messages
were written on the driveway and each student was handed a small note of
afrmation, on arriving at school. The week continued in the spirit of building
community. Activities included egg shaped cookie decorating, a Yoga class, an
international food court, a sausage sizzle and Disco. Thanks to all students who
helped in any way towards this successful week and all teachers who supported
their eforts.

Student Council

Student Council raised money for Sir Ray Avery s Life Pods on Mufti day in
community week, Come as Your Childhood Self . Life Pods are special incubators
designed to function in the most challenging conditions. The students raised
over $2,000 which means that EGGS will be acknowledged on a life pod destined
for Cambodia. Courtney York and Mehek Dutta
