Cycling

Cycling races are in Terms 2 and 3.  Pre-season training will start in term 1 with race training continuing through the season.  Days are to be confirmed but there will be at least two sessions per week with one early morning training.

Uniform: EGGS skinsuit which can be purchased from school.
Equipment: Helmet, gloves, lights, cycling shorts and your own road bike.
  (The school may have a loan bike available depending on numbers).
Cost: $200 per student.  Travel and accommodation costs to attend the NISS
  and NZSS Championships are additional.
Races: AKSS Team Time Trials, 6.30am along Waterfront, starting from Mechanics
  Bay
- 13th/27th May, 10th/24th June, 22nd July, 12th August, Finals Day 16th September
  NISS Championships, 30th June - 2nd July, Cambridge
  NZSS Individual Championships, 7th - 9th September, Mt Wellington
  NZSS Road Cycling Championships, 29th September - 1st October, Levin
and Feilding
