Capital Campaign Manager

EPSOM GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL FOUNDATION
Fulltime, 6 month contract (to be reviewed after the 6 months)
Commencing May 2012

An opportunity is available for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead and oversee a Capital Campaign for Stage 2 of the Epsom Girls Grammar School Sports Centre.

While this is a newly created position reporting directly to the Principal and EGGS Foundation, the campaign has already been launched and made significant progress toward its $3 million target.

The EGGS Foundation has created this new position to enable full focus and priority to be given to this project which is currently the School’s major fundraising and building project. Stage 1 of the Sports Centre has already been completed in 2011 and is in full use.

The Campaign Manager will lead a small team of staff and volunteers and be key in maintaining and establishing relationships with donors, staff, parents, Old Girls, local business and community.

It is essential that the Campaign Manager has a previous strong record in fundraising and managing a campaign. Experience within a school or educational institution is preferred but not essential.

Epsom Girls Grammar School has a proud tradition since 1917, is known as one of NZ’s leading public schools and has undertaken this Sports Centre project to complete a much needed facility for PE, Sport and community use. The Sports Centre is an initial step in the Property Masterplan put in place by the Epsom Girls Grammar School Board of Trustees.
